Butterfly Kisses was a wild pony living on the federal wildlife refuge called Assateague Island. It's said that she was a very playful horse who just had a colt named Trigger this year. During the pony penning of the Chincoteague volunteer fire company she died in a tragic accident. Butterfly Kisses had a distinct pattern on her coat that could not be mistaken and that is how people on the island recognized her. We will all miss her terribly but she leave her colt Trigger who has been adopted by a good family. This is my dedication Butterfly Kisses.
