• Contemporary Landscape Painting, Mountains, Fine Art Oil Painting “No Agenda” by Colorado Contemporary Fine Artist Jody Ahrens

2 years ago - By Daily Painters Of Colorado

Such a perfect day on the Grand Mesa. Grasses gently swaying in the warm summer breeze, birds singing and a family of ravens playing in the wind currents. They actually practice precision flying acrobatics. This day mom and dad were teaching an "out of sync" offspring.

"Who hears the rippling of rivers will not utterly despair of anything."
    - Henry David Thoreau
This painting was inspired by a camping trip I took, with friends and family at Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area. The gorge gets it's name from the way the sun catches the red canyon walls. Which is an absolutely breathtaking site to see!!
