    Oil, wax and acrylic on canvas 30" x 30" A hibernaculum is a place of hibernation where animals hide to sleep in the winter months. It is thought that the term "tabernacle", which is the ornate box in which the sacred host resides in a Catholic church, derives from "hibernaculum". This one appears to be lying on its side. It just painted itself that way - I didn't have much to do with it.
