Bangalay Corroboree..Pastel..Texas Artist..Rae Andrews
One year ago - By Rae Andrews Gallery
I had Aboriginals in mind when I painted this one. in their language, BANGALAY means Eucalyptus Tree and CORROBOREE means an event/ dance..hence the title..
**** I have since discovered that the language can differ regionally and for the species of tree ..
So BANGALAY might be incorrect in a general sense , but for the sake of this painting I will keep the title as is..
